Play your part; Reduce plastic waste. Have you wondered what happens to the plastic cutleries after you dispose them? As it is not easily recyclable, they often ended up in landfills, incinerator or in our environment, causing potential environmental problems.
As part of our efforts to drive wellness and sustainable living, UOB Upper Bukit Timah hosted 25 customers to learn how to make edible cutleries. Customers were taught to make spoons and bowls using healthy ingredients like flax, chia, and whole wheat. On top of being environmentally friendly, they get a boost of Omega 3, Vitamin B3, and fiber with every bite! Everyone unleashed their creativity to customize their cutleries and it gave them immense satisfaction seeing their creations taking shape.
