It does not change UOB’s commitment to serving your investment needs or providing you with access to quality investment solutions.
As the wealth and investment needs of its customers continue to evolve, UOB remains focused on enhancing its wealth management proposition. By bringing together UOB's trusted advisory expertise and access to Allianz Global Investors’ investment platform, customers will benefit from greater choice and a broader range of investment solutions tailored to their financial goals.
UOB will continue to operate an open architecture investment platform, offering a broad range of funds from multiple asset managers, including UOBAM. Our investment platform will continue to be guided by customers’ needs, suitability considerations, and a rigorous investment selection process.

Yes. The acquisition of UOBAM by Allianz Global Investors does not affect the ownership, custody or safekeeping of your investments.
When you invest in a fund, your money is invested in a fund, which is legally separate from the asset management company. The fund’s assets are held typically by an independent trustee or custodian on behalf of investors and are segregated from UOBAM’s own assets.
Accordingly, the change in ownership of UOBAM does not, in itself, change your legal interest in the fund or the manner in which the fund assets are safeguarded.
No. There is no requirement for you to redeem or switch your investments as a result of this transaction. At this stage, there are no changes to the investment objectives, investment process or risk profile of UOBAM funds. Should any material changes be made to a UOBAM fund in the future, you will be notified accordingly.
As with any investment, you should continue to review your portfolio periodically to ensure it remains aligned with your investment objectives and risk tolerance.
If you would like advice specific to your circumstances, please speak with your Relationship Manager / Client Advisor.

UOB Private Bank Chief Investment Office (CIO) will continue to determine the funds’ strategy and serve as investment advisor to the funds, with Allianz Global Investors responsible for implementing the investment advice, consistent with the existing arrangements previously performed by UOBAM.
Customers can therefore expect continuity in the investment approach and portfolio management process.
There are currently no plans to change the management arrangements for the United CIO Funds as a result of this transaction.
The United CIO Funds will continue to operate under their existing investment governance framework, with UOB Private Bank CIO providing investment advice. UOB remains committed to managing the funds to the best of customers’ interests.
As with any fund, if there are any material changes to the management arrangements in the future, such changes would be subject to the appropriate governance and regulatory processes, and you would be informed accordingly.

All investment funds, including UOBAM funds, are subject to the same investment due diligence, governance and ongoing review processes before they are offered or recommended to customers.
Following the transaction, our commitment to an open architecture approach remains unchanged. Recommendations will continue to be based on factors such as the quality of the investment solution, customer suitability and investment needs.
Not as a result of this transaction. Any investment recommendation made by your Relationship Manager / Client Advisor will continue to be based on your investment objectives, financial circumstances, risk profile and suitability assessment.
The change in ownership of UOBAM does not, by itself, require any changes to customers’ investment portfolios.
