Due to the recent surge in gold demand, walk-in purchases resulted in long waiting times for clients, hence we have switched the purchase of physical Gold and conversion of Gold from your Gold Savings Account to appointment only.

 

This is to facilitate a more conducive experience for you and to reduce wait times.

If you wish to sell your gold back to us, you may continue to walk-in to our Gold counters (no appointment is required).

 

Before visiting the branch to sell your physical Gold, we encourage you to check the crowd situation to avoid disappointment. You can also get your queue number in advance via UOB TMRW.

You can approach our Service Managers for help and we will guide you through the online process.

Purchase of Gold is only for customers (at least 18 years old) who hold a UOB Singapore Account.

 

If you do not have one, find out how you can open a UOB Singapore account.

If you are unable to successfully submit the form, we advice you to try submitting the form again at a later time. Otherwise, you may contact our UOB Customer Service 1800 222 2121

Online Appointment Booking

You are encouraged to purchase your physical Gold via UOB Personal Internet Banking, and make an appointment to collect your gold via our online booking form.

 

Refer to our step-by-step guide on how you can do so.

 

For customers who do not have access to UOB Personal Internet Banking, or would like to purchase specific Gold products not available online, you may make an appointment to purchase physical Gold via our purchase appointment booking form.

You will receive a confirmation email with an appointment reference number after you have successfully submitted the form.

 

Please save the appointment date/time as there will be no reminder email prior to your appointment date.

Appointment slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Should you be unable to find a suitable date/timeslot due to high demand, we encourage you to try again the following day.

Collection of Gold purchased via UOB Personal Internet Banking

You can arrange for the collection of your physical Gold from the next working day, and must be collected within 10 working days from the date of transaction (excluding Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays).

 

Purchase of Gold at UOB Gold Counter

You can access the purchase appointment booking form from 6pm the day before your intended appointment date (subject to availability and excluding Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday).

 

Eg. You can access the form from 23 Feb 2026, 6pm to make an appointment to purchase physical Gold for 24 Feb 2026.

Appointment slots are limited to one booking slot per customer per day.

 

Should there be multiple reservations from the same customer, only the latest successful reservation will be accepted.

We are unfortunately unable to accommodate changes to your appointment. Please make another booking for the following day (subject to availability).

Should you miss your appointment time, you would need to make another appointment for the following day (subject to availability of slots).

We strive to serve you as close to your appointed time as possible. However, do expect some wait time if there is a delay in the appointments ahead of you, or in the event of unforeseen circumstance.

Please ensure that you bring along the following documents on the day of the appointment.

 

For Singaporeans / Permanent Residents:

Physical NRIC or valid Passport

 

For Foreigners:

Please bring along the original copies of identification:

  • Physical Passport of account holder; or
  • Work permit/Student pass/other documents demonstrating your Residency status

Appointment booking and collection of your physical Gold must be made under the same name as the UOB account holder.

Physical gold purchased online may be collected together in a single appointment if the appointment date is at least one business day from the transaction date.

 

Gold purchased online on the date of your collection appointment will not be available for collection during the same appointment. Such purchases will be eligible for collection at from the next business day from the date of transaction.

Gold Bar Availability

Due to overwhelming demand, some popular gold bar designs may become out of stock. You can check on the availability of your desired Gold product before making an appointment to purchase.

 

Availability of Gold product options are on first come first serve basis, and reservations are unfortunately not possible

For PAMP Gold bars, there is a 5-piece limit per denomination (by weight) per customer per week.

 

All other options are based on stock availability.

Alternative Purchase & Investment Options

UOB has a suite of Gold investment options available to our customers besides physical Gold. Our Gold Savings Account (GSA) allows you to enjoy the flexibility to buy, sell and check your holdings conveniently online or in UOB TMRW.

 

You can open a GSA at any UOB branch in Singapore from Mondays to Fridays during banking hours.
