Overview

We work closely with our clients to develop and implement tailored solutions for their equity fund-raising requirements. We have a strong team of professionals working closely with our coverage and product bankers to originate, structure, underwrite and syndicate equity products.

We have an established track record of raising funds for corporate and institutional clients from the public capital markets through initial public offerings, secondary placements, rights issues of shares and equity-linked issues. To date, we have led and been involved in sizeable Mainboard and real estate investment trust (REIT) equity transactions on the Singapore Exchange. We are also a Catalist Full Sponsor active in Catalist equity listings particularly with our mid-cap and high-growth client base. As Issue Manager, Sponsor, Bookrunner, Placement Agent and Underwriter, we coordinate all activities leading to the listing or secondary equity fund-raising, including providing advice on listing regulations, restructuring, valuation, syndicate distribution and timing of the issue.

Through UOB’s regional platform and UOB Kay Hian, we are also able to raise funds for corporate and institutional clients from the equity capital markets in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand.

Aside from public capital market deals, we also have capability to execute private equity fund-raising work, mobilising UOB’s extensive network in Singapore and the region.
