A Unit Trust is funded by individual investors and controlled by a professional fund manager. This money is used in multiple investment assets to diversify your portfolio for lower risks and potentially higher returns.
It has a lower investment outlay so it's easy for you to get started. Collectively, the fund is large enough to access markets that may be difficult to enter on your own. You also won't have to spend time and effort to monitor the markets as the fund is actively managed.
In short, all you have to think about are your investment goals.
1 Underlying fund related fees (e.g. Management Fee, Trustee Fee, Valuation Fee etc.) payable out of the Funds to the Managers, the Trustee, and other parties.
Should there be insufficient cash balance in your account to pay the fees, UOBAM Invest will proceed to divest your investment holdings to meet the obligations.
