How can I qualify for Start Digital?

Based in Singapore
You should be registered and operating in Singapore with at least 30% local shareholding.

 

Qualify as an SME
You should have group annual sales turnover of not more than SGD 100 million or have less than 200 employees.

 

Adopting 2 solutions
You should sign up for 2 solutions contractually for 18 months, with free subscription for a minimum period of 6 months under the Start Digital Pack. These 2 solutions must be from different categories.

 

Applying through UOB
You should not have applied for any Start Digital Pack through any other party.

 

New applicant
You should be applying for a Start Digital Pack for the first time.

You can still adopt digital business solutions with preferential pricing under UOB BizSmart.

What is Start Digital?

Start Digital is a joint initiative by Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) under the SMEs Go Digital programme. Start Digital was launched in January 2019 to help new SMEs start their business right with foundational and easy-to-deploy solutions. Start Digital is also intended for SMEs that are new to using digital technology.

 

UOB is an industry partner of the Start Digital initiative.

The Start Digital Pack is intended for SMEs who have just incorporated and/or are just embarking on their digitalisation journey. SMEs can take up to any two solutions from the above three categories at a lower cost.

 

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) supports businesses in the adoption of IT solutions/ equipment/ consultancy service that improve productivity. SMEs can select the relevant solutions from a pre-scoped list and apply to receive up to 80% funding support for eligible costs. This scheme offers a wider range of digital solutions and have different pricing packages from Start Digital.

Depending on the solution, there is a free usage period of six months or equivalent. You are required to sign a contract with solution vendors based on the proposed packages. An early termination fee applies for the entire contract duration.

The pricing structure and grant under Start Digital Program is only applicable to a maximum of two solutions. If you wish to add a third solution or more, please visit UOB BizSmart for more details.

To receive the payout, subscription must be paid to solution providers for at least 3 consecutive months, or depending on each solution’s Start Digital Package requirements. The subscription must be made via UOB Credit Card, UOB Debit Card, GIRO from UOB Corporate account, or UOB Corporate PayNow.

 

The payout for first solution is $150, and the payout for second solution is $250. Please refer to Claim for the Start Digital 2.0 Payout link for instruction. Terms and conditions apply.

Please allow up to 6 months to process the payout upon the date of claim. The payout will be made via PayNow (based on your company’s UEN) or GIRO to your UOB Business Banking account.

You can work on those files in real time with other people and store them in the cloud with Google Drive. Google Workspace’s apps work across devices. Yes. A user can have multiple email addresses by creating email aliases such as support@yourcompany. You can add up to 30 email aliases for each user.
