Money in the UOB Conveyancing Account will be subject to stringent checks and controls for both pay-in and pay-out transactions which are processed by a dedicated and experienced UOB team.

Track movements of your client’s funds and view daily reports with details of property transactions which may be downloaded or printed from UOB Infinity (digital banking for business) to facilitate reconciliation of your accounts. Find out more

Requirements/Fees

  • UOB Conveyancing Account is only available to Singapore law firms.
  • No minimum initial deposit requirement for account opening.
  • No minimum average daily balance requirement.
  • No account closure fee for account closed within six months of account opening.
  • MAS Electronic Payment System (MEPS) charges for payment of stamp duties from conveyancing accounts to the Commissioner of Stamp Duties will be waived.

Please note the cut-off time for such MEPS payments: 3.00pm on Mondays to Fridays (working days only). For instructions received after 3.00pm, the MEPS payments will be effected on the following day.

Deposit Insurance Scheme

Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors and monies and deposits denominated in Singapore dollars under the Supplementary Retirement Scheme are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$100,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
