UOB Group Technology & Operations (GTO) provides software development, IT application services, and delivers digital capabilities in various domains ranging from data, trading, automation, to enterprise workflow and HR technology. We harness the power of software to support banking services and operations as well as to design, develop, and deliver solutions to meet the Bank’s vision and business objectives. We work closely with business functions to stay relevant to our customers in the products and services we provide.

As a software developer, you will work towards building high quality, scalable software and systems using best-in-class technologies. You will work alongside experienced colleagues with one common goal – to provide our portfolio of our customers and partners with industry leading technology-enabled user experiences.

The Group Information Security (GIS) division provides various cyber security functions including cyber defence operations, access management, security, risk assessments and testing, architecture and engineering, programme management and governance. We are protecting the Bank on a daily basis and safeguarding its future.

The Group Infrastructure & Platforms Services (GIPS) function provides service recovery including Application production support, application monitoring, production system health checks, as well as other related value-added services. GIPS also delivers UOB’s banking systems and services to our customers by ensuring excellent service availability through 24x7 computer operations.

As an application support / operations engineer, you will have the opportunity to leverage industry best practices and tools to deliver superior customer service and ensure availability and reliability of the Bank’s infrastructure and applications. You will learn to automate and streamline operational processes, eventually becoming a subject matter expert in your preferred technology domain.
