Throughout your internship, a mentor assigned to you will review your progress and provide guidance on product and financial knowledge, operations and services of the Bank as well as communication and networking skills. In addition to on-the-job training, you will attend workshops designed to enhance your understanding of banking and to help you develop your career. The UOB Summer Internship Programme was a fruitful experience. During my internship, I worked with relationship managers in the team. I assisted with the preparation of credit proposals, conducting industry analysis, performing financial analysis, and writing up business updates for the companies. I also had the opportunity to go on site visits and attend client meetings. My supervisor and seniors were always willing to give their advice and guidance to help me overcome the challenges I encounter. I am grateful for this valuable opportunity to gain deeper insight into Commercial Banking. I have truly enjoyed the internship experience at UOB and I hope I will have the opportunity to return as a Management Associate next year.
Andrea Wong, 2018 Summer Intern

Time flies during my internship at UOB. UOB internship not only allows me to experience working at Corporate Banking, I was also able to know more about different functions of the bank and how different teams work together to facilitate the bank’s business through a series of knowledge sharing workshops. From the orientation briefing on the first day, to CSR and staff engagement projects, to knowledge workshops, to the final closing ceremony, the whole program was well organized and I am happy and proud to be a part of such a talented team!
