Frequently Asked Questions

Most UOB branches are accessible to elderly customers and persons with disabilities. Ramps – either permanent or portable – are available at various locations. UOB Coleman is the only exception due to structural constraints, but handrails have been installed to assist customers. For additional mobility support, stair climbers are available at UOB Privilege Banking Centre Raffles and UOB Main Branch.

These seats are available across all branches and are clearly marked with decals or PVC mats. Our staff are trained to assist customers in locating and accessing these seats and will offer alternative seating or queue arrangements when necessary.

Selected UOB ATMs are equipped with features that enhance accessibility for visually impaired customers, including:

  • Audio jacks (3.5mm) for private, voice-guided instructions.
  • Special identifier decals for easy recognition.

These features allow customers to plug in earphones and receive text-to-speech instructions for secure and independent banking.

Yes. Wheelchair users may be able to use our ATMs, especially when they are placed on level ground.
