Manop joined UOB (Thai) in 2015 and is responsible for macroeconomic research focusing on Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar.
Prior to joining UOB (Thai), he was a senior economist at the Bank of Thailand. He has published several economic papers and articles, such as “Investment in Thailand: How to unleash the new investment cycle?” and “Choosing the Right Financial System for Growth”, in international academic journals and shared his views and insights through local media.
Manop has a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and a Master of Science in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom
