How it works

Via Digitised ATM Card* on UOB Mighty

 
1. Download UOB Mighty.
 
2. Digitise your UOB ATM Card* to start paying with your mobile device.
Visit uob.com.sg/Mighty to learn how to digitise your UOB ATM Card on UOB Mighty.
 
3. Look out for the NETS contactless logo on the NETS terminal to tap and pay!

 

Via the new UOB ATM Card (contactless)

 
1. Get your new UOB ATM Card (contactless) via any of the following application modes:
   a. Visit any UOB Group Branch to apply immediately.
   b. Download a copy of the application form here. Mail the completed form to:

2. Look out for the NETS contactless logo on the NETS terminal to tap and pay!

Account-Based Ticketing

Travel smart with your UOB ATM Contactless Card

You can now use your UOB ATM Contactless Card to pay for your train and bus rides in the Account-Based Ticketing pilot with Land Transport Authority (LTA) and TransitLink. Limited slots available.

FAQ

All UOB customers holding at least one ATM cards, issued by UOB in Singapore, can pay with UOB Mighty. Pay with UOB Mighty is compatible with Android devices with NFC Support, running 4.4 or higher. Asus devices running on X86 processors are not supported.

No, PIN verification is not required if your contactless NETS purchase is under S$100. For contactless NETS transactions on UOB ATM Cards (greater than or equals to S$100), PIN verification is required.

If your ATM card is lost or stolen, your liability will be limited to S$100.00 for unauthorized contactless transactions (without PIN) performed using your ATM card but only if you take all of the following steps:-

  1. you immediately notify us of the loss or theft
  2. you take all reasonable steps to help recover or stop the use of the Card;
  3. you give us a police report or a legal document called a statutory declaration in the form approved by us and any other document or information we require; and
  4. you have established, and we are satisfied that, you have not by your acts or omissions (directly or indirectly) caused or contributed to the occurrence of the loss or theft and the loss, or theft is not due to your negligence, fraudulent act or default

  1. What is the pilot about?
    Together with Land Transport Authority and TransitLink, this pilot enables commuters to pay for their train and bus rides with the UOB ATM Contactless Card. This eliminates the need for a separate transit card and hassle of topping up as your train/bus rides will be processed and charged to your card.

  2. Is the pilot programme open to anyone to participate?
    The pilot launch is available to all UOB ATM Contactless Cardholders with the NETS Contactless symbol on your card. If you do not have a UOB ATM Contactless Card and would like to apply for one, please visit any UOB Branch or apply online here


  3. How do I register my UOB ATM Contactless Card for the pilot?
    You may register for the pilot here. Upon successful registration, you will receive an email notification from TransitLink (takes about 2 weeks) indicating the date from which you can start using your card at transit points.
