Instant Online Valuation

1. What is this Instant Online Valuation Service?
This is a collaboration with CKS, a professional valuer, to provide a convenient and reliable platform where a customer looking to buy a property or refinance his home loan can obtain an indicative online valuation while getting a bank loan from UOB. This service enables the user to instantly obtain an indicative valuation on the HDB flats and private condominiums in Singapore.
2. How is this different from other online valuation tools?
UOB is the first-in-market to collaborate with a professional valuer to host an online valuation service on its website. Valuer CKS is a member of SISV (Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers). Indicative valuation can be used for bank’s credit underwriting.
3. Is this available to the public, or only for UOB customers?
This service is currently open to everyone. We will also be making this service available to agents via their inhouse apps.
4. Is this Instant Online Valuation service free?
Yes, this is free.

Instant Loan Approval

1. Can I rely on Instant Approval to buy a property?
You must ensure that the information you provide for the property loan application is consistent with and matches the information in the actual documents submitted to us subsequently. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you give to us is accurate, complete and not misleading. You must tell us promptly if any information given is or subsequently becomes inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or changes in any way. Terms and conditions in the Letter of Offer apply if you subsequently agree to take up the Loan with us. Do note that the Letter of Offer must be accepted within its validity period (7 days from the date Instant Approval is obtained).
2. How long will it take?
Our Home Loans Specialists will need some time to collect information from you. Once information is submitted, result will be instantaneous.
3. I went down to your branch yesterday but was not given an Instant Approval. Why?
Instant approval is subject to the bank’s guidelines. Please speak to our Home Loans Specialists who will be able to assist you further.
4. I do not have an option to purchase yet. Can I still apply for Instant Approval?
Yes, you can. You must ensure that the information you provide us for the property and home loan application is consistent with and matches the information in the actual documents submitted to us subsequently.
5. How long is the Instant Approval valid for?
The Instant Approval is valid for 7 calendar days from the date the approval is granted.
6. What do I need to do if the Instant Approval that I was granted has expired?

7. Can my housing agent apply on my behalf?
Unfortunately, your housing agent may not apply on your behalf, as all applicants/borrowers need to be present at the branch.
8. What is the difference between Instant Approval and Property Loan Eligibility Check?
Instant Approval is processed at our branches while Property Loan Eligibility is done at show flats. Please note that there is no Letter of Offer being issued for Property Loan Eligibility. If you wish to take up the property loan package you are eligible for, you would need to proceed to the branch so that you can check that the application details are accurate before the loan is approved and the Letter of Offer is issued.
