Education is a cornerstone of UOB’s commitment to advancing opportunities across ASEAN through digital skills and scholarships.

In Indonesia, UOB My Digital Space partnered with Ruangguru in a five-year partnership to equip 90,000 students with digital learning tools plus curricula to help them with their critical and computational thinking. The programme spans 500 schools annually across 60 cities in all 38 provinces, preparing youths for an increasingly digital and AI-driven economy.

Region-wide, the UOB FutureGen Scholarship supports up to 90 outstanding pre-tertiary students from Malaysia, Indonesia and China to study in Singapore, covering school and examination fees, allowances and settling-in support. Applications received in 2025 form part of the Bank’s 90th anniversary’s focus on providing education opportunities.

Together, these initiatives create a pathway for students providing them with access to education and providing opportunities so that youths from around the region can learn confidently and pursue their dreams.
