To qualify for the additional interest rate ("AIR"), you have to either open a new Account with a minimum fresh funds deposit of S$10,000 or top up your existing Account with a minimum Top-up Amount of S$10,000 in fresh funds between 2 January 2013 and 28 February 2013, both dates inclusive ("Promotion Period"). The AIR only applies to the abovementioned fresh funds deposited during the Promotion Period and maintained at all times in the Account starting from the date of deposit of such fresh funds. To be eligible for the Medallions, a participation form must be submitted at any UOB branch and the funds will be earmarked for 3 months from the date of deposit or earmarking (whichever is earlier).
