UOB GRANDSTAND @ STAMFORD: S$598 (3-DAY TICKET) SOLD OUT

Located in between Turns 7 and 8, the Stamford Grandstand boasts several excellent vantage points, which include views of the cars negotiating multiple turns and dramatic scenes of the cars braking from nearly 300km/h through Memorial (Turn 7) down to 110km/h for the third gear left-hander onto Nicoll Highway.

The Memorial has seen its fair share of exhilarating action in 2010 when Nick Heidfeld's BMW Sauber made contact with Michael Schumacher's Mercedes GP, and Mark Webber's Red Bull collided into Lewis Hamilton's McLaren, resulting in the early retirement of both Hamilton and Heidfeld.

At the other end of the grandstand, spectators will be able to enjoy views of the cars tackling Turn 8 where Nick Heidfeld's BMW Sauber made contact with Vitantonio Liuzzi's Force India on the opening lap in 2010, forcing the latter to retire prematurely from the race. Selected seats also allow fans to witness cars approaching Turn 14 as they come round again in the second half of the lap.

The Stamford Grandstand is in close proximity to the Hawker Village and the main entertainment stage in the Padang vicinity where fans can enjoy world-class cuisine and a stellar entertainment line-up of roving entertainment acts and international superstars. This year, multi award-winning rock group Linkin Park is set to perform at the Padang main stage on race day, 25 September 2011. The complete entertainment programme will be released in the coming months. In addition, spectators can access the F1 Village in Zone 4 to purchase exclusive Formula One™ memorabilia and Singapore GP merchandise, and take part in a wide variety of entertainment activities.
