Nearby the development, there are three shopping malls (Tampines Mall; Century Square at Tampines; East Point Mall); two malls that are under construction (Tampines One by 2009; Centrepoint mall, next to the Singapore Expo, by 2011); primary and secondary schools; a junior college and Temasek Polytechnic.

Located next to the Expo MRT Station, the up-and-coming Business and Academic Hub at Changi Business Park (CBP) is just a stone’s throw away from Double Bay Residences.
