PRUlife limited pay is a unique plan that has been specially designed to give you lifelong protection that comes with shorter premium term options. So, while your protection carries on for life, you’ll have the option to complete your premium payments earlier, thus lightening your financial commitments later in life.

- Know that you’re well protected, as you’re covered against Death, Terminal Illness and Total and Permanent Disability¹ during the policy period where 100% of the sum assured plus any accumulated bonuses² will be payable.

- As your life progresses, your needs change. PRUlife limited pay allows you to buy another Whole Life, Endowment or Term Policy³ at major milestones in life such as marriage, becoming a parent or legally adopting a child, without any medical examination⁴required.

- If you are a parent of a child:
  
  Mrs Tan (female, non-smoker), age 30 next birthday, wishes to purchase a basic insurance plan for her son, Alvin (male, non-smoker), age 1 next birthday, which provides him with lifetime coverage. She intends to set aside S$119 a month for 25 years so that Alvin will not need to pay any more premiums to continue enjoying the coverage after he grows up.
  
  She buys a PRUlife limited pay policy, with a premium payment term of 25 years, to insure Alvin for a sum of S$150,000. Depending on Alvin’s needs and preferences, he may use the potential cash values accumulated under PRUlife limited pay for future needs.
  
  For as little as S$0.24⁶ per day, Mrs Tan can add Payer Security III to Alvin’s PRUlife limited pay policy. Payer Security III will take over the premium payments under Alvin’s PRUlife limited pay policy in the event of Mrs Tan’s Death, Total and Permanent Disability, or her being diagnosed with a critical illness⁷, until Alvin reaches age 25.

¹ Policy provides coverage against Terminal Illness (“TI”) and Total and Permanent Disability (“TPD”) during the term of the policy, and before the anniversary of the policy on which the Life Assured will attain the age of 65. The Life Assured cannot claim for both TI and TPD.
² Bonuses are not guaranteed and will vary according to the future experience of the participating fund.
³ Sum assured of the new policy for each life event such as marriage, parenthood, including delivery of a baby or adoption of a child through legal means, can only be up to a maximum of 25% of the original sum assured or S$150,000, whichever is lower. The option to purchase a new policy can only be exercised twice in the lifetime of the Life Assured. And the maximum additional cover for these two life events can only be up to a maximum of 50% of the original sum assured or S$300,000, whichever is lower.
