Fixed Deposit Top-up or Withdrawal New!

You can now top up or withdraw your fixed deposit upon maturity via UOB Personal Internet Banking. Simply login to UOB Personal Internet Banking in 2FA (SMS or Token-OTP) mode, click on Fixed Deposit and select Manage Fixed Deposit.

Update on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Authorisation Above Threshold Limit

Customers are currently required to provide Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) authorisation when performing Bill Payment, Funds Transfer, eNETS or Remittance above a limit of S$1,000 via UOB Personal Internet Banking. This limit will be changed to $25,000 from December 2012.

You can choose your preferred threshold limit for invoking 2FA authorisation when performing the following transactions via UOB Personal Internet Banking.

The limits available for selection are:

* The default threshold limit to invoke 2FA authorisation will be changed from S$1,000 to S$25,000 from December 2012.

You can also opt to receive SMS/email notification alerts when you perform transactions above the threshold limits. The threshold limits for receiving notification alerts are also customisable.

To change the threshold limit for 2FA authorisation and/or SMS/email notification alerts, please click on Security Preference > One-time Password Settings after logging in to UOB Personal Internet Banking.

Change of address

You can now change your address via UOB Personal Internet Banking. To update, simply login to UOB Personal Internet Banking in 2FA (SMS or Token-OTP) mode, click on Customer Service in the left menu and select Change of Address.

GIRO Arrangement to Housing Development Board (HDB)

You can now make the following GIRO arrangements to Housing Development Board (HDB) via UOB Personal Internet Banking.
1. HDB Main Upgrading Cost Instalment
2. HDB Lift/Interim Plus Upgrading Cost Instalment
3. HDB Home Improvement Upgrading Cost Instalment
4. HDB Mortgage Loan Instalment
5. HDB Rent
To set up the arrangement, please login to UOB Personal Internet Banking access with 2FA authentication (SMS or Token-OTP) and click on Online Application > GIRO Arrangement from the left navigation menu.

Update on UOB Personal Internet Banking services

Please be informed of the following changes that will take effect from 23 January 2010.

1) Revision of charges for Telegraphic Transfer, MAS Electronic Payment System (MEPS) and Demand Draft performed through UOB Personal Internet Banking.
- New Telegraphic Transfer and MAS Electronic Payment System (MEPS) charges:
  1/16% of the transaction amount; subject to a minimum of SGD10 and a maximum of SGD100. Cable and agent bank charges apply (if any).
- New Demand Draft charges:
  1/16% of the transaction amount; subject to a minimum of SGD10 and a maximum of SGD100.
2) Display of UOB Personal/Joint-OR account number which are currently delinked
Your delinked UOB Personal/Joint-OR account number (except Joint UOBAM, SRS accounts, Custody accounts) will be reflected on your UOB Personal Internet Banking page under "Link Account" for your convenience to link them online. This new feature will be made available to you with effect from 23 January 2010.

3) Scheduled Bill Payment and Funds Transfer Arrangement
Please note that you can only schedule post-dated Bill Payment and Funds Transfer transactions up to 1 year in advance and the post-dated transactions will not be performed if you terminate your UOB Personal Internet Banking access prior to the scheduled transaction date.

Important - Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Announcement

With effect from 17 June 2007, a unique One-Time Password (OTP) will be required each time you login to UOB Personal Internet Banking.

With 2FA, you will be required to provide a unique One-Time Password (OTP) in addition to the current Username and Password upon login. This verifies your identity as an online banking customer and ensures that only you can gain access to your account information. This means that you can carry out your transactions more securely.

While security is of utmost importance, we understand that it is also important for you to perform your transactions with ease. With this in mind, we are offering you two options. All you need is to decide which choice best complements your lifestyle:
- SMS-OTP - via your mobile phone
- Token-OTP - via a security device
Please note that the current terms and conditions of UOB Personal Internet Banking access have been revised. You will be prompted to accept the revised terms and conditions when you login to UOB Personal Internet Banking.
