Protecting Your UOB Personal Internet Banking Username and Password

To access UOB Personal Internet Banking, always enter www.uob.com.sg directly into your web browser. At the homepage, place your cursor over the “UOB Online Services Login” button at the top right hand corner and click on “UOB Personal Internet Banking” in the drop-down list.

To verify you are on the login page of UOB Personal Internet Banking, ensure that the website address bar displays https://pib.uob.com.sg/PIBLogin/appmanager/Login/Public

Alternatively, you could check the website’s digital certificate by clicking the padlock icon found beside the website address bar or on the status bar at the bottom of your browser screen and view ‘Certificate Information’.

You should verify that the certificate is issued to pib.uob.com.sg as indicated below

To keep your UOB Personal Internet Banking username and password secure, you should practise the following:

1) Use a different username and password for UOB Personal Internet Banking from your other non-banking activities.

2) Select a password that is at least six characters long, contains alphanumeric characters and does not repeat any character.

3) Change your UOB Personal Internet Banking password at least every three months; and change it immediately if you suspect it has been breached.

4) Never reveal your UOB Personal Internet Banking username, password or One-Time Password (OTP) to anyone.

5) Memorise your password, and refrain from writing it down.

6) Do not select the ‘Auto Complete’ function on your browser for your UOB Personal Internet Banking login page.

7) Clear your browser’s cache and browser history after your Personal Internet Banking session to remove your account information.
