Enable your Card(s) for Overseas Card Use

 
To use your Card(s) overseas (for Point of Sale transactions and ATM access), please remember to enable the magnetic stripe on your Card(s) by clicking on the "Overseas Card Use"3 tab located below.
 

Other ways to enable/disable the magnetic stripe on your Card(s):

  • Visit a UOB Branch near you
  • Download and mail form to us
  • Call our 24-hour hotline 1800 386 81883
  • Go to the nearest UOB ATM4


1 The term "Card(s)" shall mean any credit cards and debit cards issued by United Overseas Bank Limited.
   
2 Please note that the magnetic stripe on your Card(s) may remain enabled for selected UOB card types issued by United Overseas Bank Limited (“UOB”) and UOB customers. To check the current settings on your
Card(s), please click on the " Overseas Card Use" tab above.
   
3 You will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS to complete the disabling/enabling of the magnetic stripe on the Card(s). Please ensure that your updated mobile phone number has been registered into our records.
   
4 Card PIN needed.
